We couldn’t be more proud of the way our students showed up and supported our ECJH volleyball teams! 📣🙌 🏐 And our Lady Bucs SHOWED UP and DELIVERED! We are so proud of the heart, hustle, and fight these girls brought to the court tonight! What better way to end the night than with our 8th Grade Lady Bucs TAKING DOWN WARREN! 🔥💪 👏 A HUGE hats off to our National Junior Honor Society for absolutely ROCKING the concession stand tonight! From start to finish, these students worked hard, stepped up, and helped make tonight a huge success. We are SO PROUD of every one of them! 💚💛 The energy. The school spirit. The teamwork. The Lady Bucs and Bucs JH Cross Country teams traveled to Huffman today 💚💛 All athletes improved their times from last week by 2 to 4 min ! Peyton Dillard dominated the course in the 7th grade girls division winning 1st place 🥇 It’s exciting to see these athletes get faster each week ! 💚💛 Another amazing week at ECJH! 🏴‍☠️ From engaging math in Mrs. Miner’s classroom ➗, celebrating our Perfect Attendance winners from each grade level 🏆, and House Harmony leading the way this week 💚—our Bucs stayed busy! 🎭 Theatre I had fun playing Hunter & Hunted while practicing listening skills and audience etiquette, and 📚 Ms. Edwards shared the joy of reading with her students in the library. 🏈 And a BIG SHOUT-OUT to our 7th & 8th grade Buccaneer football players on their FIRST scrimmage of the year! Avry Y., our FIRST 8th-grade Greenhand FFA member to successfully memorize and recite all five paragraphs of the FFA Creed! 🌾👏 As a reward for being the first Greenhand to complete the challenge, he will receive his very first official FFA jacket! 💛💙 That blue corduroy jacket represents so much more than FFA membership—it represents hard work, leadership, tradition, and the beginning of an FFA journey. Our first student-led Bucs for Christ meeting starts tomorrow, and we will meet every Thursday morning at 7:30! Our first service will be in room 262 tomorrow! if you can't make it in the morning you will also be offering a student-led Bible study at lunch in rm 259!

They came ready to compete and showed what Buccaneer volleyball is all about! 💪 We are also incredibly proud of our 7th Grade Lady Bucs, who played with heart, hustle, and determination. The growth and progress they showed on the court was incredible, and we can’t wait to see what this season brings! The JH Lady Bucs and Bucs cross country teams competed in the first Cross Country Meet of the season today in Bridge City 💛💚 There were 208 runners in the girls race and 171 runners in the boys race. The Lady Bucs placed 7th overall out of 11 teams and the Bucs placed 7th out of 10 teams. Peyton Dillard was our medal winner today in the JH Girls division ! 🥇 Most of these young athletes are new to cross country and I’m really proud of how well they ran today ! Next meet up Saturday September 5th in Huffman ! 💚💛
