This week at ECJH!

Our 7th & 8th grade boys and girls wrapped up an incredible track season this week at the district meet! 🏃♂️🏃♀️
We are so proud of the hard work, determination, and heart each athlete has shown all season long. From early practices to race day finishes, this group has represented our school so well!
A very special shoutout to our 8th grade girls for bringing home BACK-TO-BACK DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIPS! 🏆🏆 What an amazing accomplishment and a testament to their dedication and teamwork!
Way to go, athletes! We can’t wait to see what the future holds for each of you! 💚💛

Happy National School Librarian Day! 📚✨
Today we’re celebrating our incredible Media Specialist, Mrs. Franzen—the heart of our library and so much more! From helping students find the perfect book to keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes, she makes our campus a better place every single day.
We are so grateful for all she does for our students and staff. 💚

Wishing all of our students and staff a joyful holiday weekend filled with sweet treats, sunshine, and special moments with family. We hope your days are egg-stra fun and full of springtime smiles! 🐰🌷
Enjoy your short break—we’ll see you back soon, refreshed and ready to learn! 💛🌸

Before we hop into the long weekend, Ms. Gibson's classes are reviewing figurative language by participating in a good old fashioned egg hunt. Once they find the eggs, they open them up, read the sentence inside the egg, and tell what type of figirative language it is.

Big THANK YOU to our amazing paraprofessionals! 💚💛
Your support makes a difference for our students every day — and we are so grateful for you! 👏

A short week, but a busy week!

📚 Attention Parents of 8th Grade American History Students! 🇺🇸
We are offering after-school STAAR Review Sessions to help our 8th graders feel confident and prepared for the upcoming American History STAAR test!
These review sessions will provide students with extra practice, helpful strategies, and targeted support over important historical concepts and skills they have learned throughout the year.
We encourage all 8th grade American History students to take advantage of this great opportunity to sharpen their knowledge and build test-taking confidence before test day!

⚡ Speed, sweat, and smiles! Our ECJH track stars left it all on the track & field yesterday ! 🏃♀️ 🏃💨 💚💛 Post any pictures you have below! #bucrelays

💚💛 Buc Coin Spotlight! 💛💚
We love celebrating students who represent East Chambers Jr. High with outstanding character!
A neighboring district recently called our campus just to brag on Damara after a recent track meet. When the meet was over, Damara asked for a trash bag so she could help pick up trash in the visitor stands before leaving. No one asked her to do it—she simply saw a need and stepped up.
Her actions made such an impression that they wanted to recognize her kindness by buying her lunch and awarding her a Buc Coin!
Damara, thank you for showing what it means to be a Buc—leading with respect, responsibility, and pride wherever you go. We are proud of you for representing ECJH so well! 👏
