Avry Y., our FIRST 8th-grade Greenhand FFA member to successfully memorize and recite all five paragraphs of the FFA Creed! 🌾👏 As a reward for being the first Greenhand to complete the challenge, he will receive his very first official FFA jacket! 💛💙 That blue corduroy jacket represents so much more than FFA membership—it represents hard work, leadership, tradition, and the beginning of an FFA journey. The JH Lady Bucs and Bucs cross country teams competed in the first Cross Country Meet of the season today in Bridge City 💛💚 There were 208 runners in the girls race and 171 runners in the boys race. The Lady Bucs placed 7th overall out of 11 teams and the Bucs placed 7th out of 10 teams. Peyton Dillard was our medal winner today in the JH Girls division ! 🥇 Most of these young athletes are new to cross country and I’m really proud of how well they ran today ! Next meet up Saturday September 5th in Huffman ! 💚💛

🚗💚 ECJH CAR RIDER REMINDER 💛🏴‍☠️ We wanted to give our parents a quick reminder about our afternoon pickup procedures. We had a few parents with questions on Friday when students were walking toward their vehicles and staff redirected them to the front of the pickup line. Please know—your student is NOT in trouble! 😊 Our goal is to load and release 5–6 vehicles at a time so we can keep the line moving and get traffic off Highway 124 as quickly as possible, which also helps with the elementary pickup traffic. If your child begins walking toward your vehicle and we redirect them to the front, we are simply trying to keep students in a safe loading area while moving several cars forward together. It’s all about safety and keeping traffic flowing! We truly appreciate every parent who has been patient, supportive, and understanding as we work to make pickup as smooth as possible. Our two biggest priorities will always be: 💚 Keeping our students SAFE 🚗 Getting our families through the line as quickly and efficiently as possible Thank you for working with us and helping make dismissal safer and smoother for everyone!
