A note from Nurse Picou for incoming 7th Graders!

School may be out for summer, but we still have some celebrating to do! ☀️🏴‍☠️💚💛 Please join us in recognizing our 2025 Buccaneers of the Year! This special honor is one of the highest recognitions a student can receive at East Chambers Jr. High. These students were nominated and voted on by our teachers for consistently demonstrating leadership, character, kindness, school spirit, and what it truly means to be an outstanding Buccaneer. Congratulations to these three incredible students on this well-deserved recognition! We are so proud of the example you set each and every day, and we can’t wait to see all the amazing things ahead for you. ⚓👏

📣 End of Year Bash Update 📣
Due to the expected inclement weather on Wednesday, we have moved the outdoor/water slide portion of our End of Year Bash to tomorrow after lunch.

Students participating should bring:
☀️ Beach towel
☀️ Sunscreen
☀️ Change of clothes
We will also have a concession stand available for students!

All indoor activities originally planned for Wednesday morning will still take place as scheduled, including the announcement of our 🏆 House Champion!

We are looking forward to a fun and exciting celebration to wrap up an amazing school year! 🎉

Our UIL students had a blast at Jumping World as a reward for all of their hard work and dedication in their events!
