The Buccadear Drill Team Clinic will be held in the High School Auditorium on Saturday, January 16th, 2021 from 8:30-3:00 PM. Ages: 4 years-8th grade Wear comfortable shorts, t-shirt, and tennis shoes. The registration fee is $35.00. To be guaranteed a shirt, please turn in order forms by January 8th. Participant must bring your own lunch and refillable water bottle. Follies will be on January 18th. Basketball changes announced! The Runnin' Bucs will play Big Sandy at home on Friday with the JV at 5:00 and the varsity at 6:15. The game Saturday is at Evadale and the time has been moved up to 11:00 AM and 12:15 but unfortunately there will be no fans allowed. Geaux Bucs!

The sheriff's office has lifted its lockdown/lockout request as the issue it was handling near the school has been resolved. Thank you for your cooperation and trusting ECISD to implement its safety and security protocols as designed. Our systems and emergency operations procedures worked as planned, and the lockdown/lockout is discontinued.

The Chambers County Sheriff's office requested that the school institute its lockdown/lockout procedures temporarily as it handles a situation near the school. No issue is occurring at school, nor is the issue the sheriff's department is handling related to the school. Please do not come to the school. Everyone is fine and safe at the school. We will immediately announce when the Sheriff's office lifts its request for the school to be on lockdown/lockout.
