Korben Finn receives a Buccaneer Challenge Coin from Mrs. Ballard and Mrs. Campbell. Korben always has a positive attitude and is always willing to help others. Every time Korben leaves the library, he always thanks us for letting him come to the library. He always has a smile and a hug to offer to anyone that needs it. A true definition of a Buccaneer.
Mrs. Reddell is giving a Buccaneer Challenge Coin to Alexson Bertrand in Second Grade for setting a difficult goal at the beginning of the year and accomplishing this goal by the deadline. He set his mind on a goal, worked hard reading difficult books, and accumulated enough points to achieve his goal.
Ms. Kahla presented an EC Challenge Coin to Blaize Ballard. Ms. Kahla says that Blaize is such a great friend to everyone! He always knows how to make his classmates laugh and brightens everyone’s day! He’s grown so much this year — it’s been amazing to see!
It's Awards week at ECP!
Raul Hernandez and Alexandria Norton received a Buccaneer Challenge Coin from Mrs. Jurado.
Mrs. Jurado said - "They are awesome friends to other students and they keep their commitments daily. They find the good in every situation, and they are always ready to learn and help."
"K is for kindergarten and K is for kindness. I am awarding a challenge coin to two of my kindergarten students who have shown kindness to their classmates and others. These students demonstrate respect, compassion and are always eager to learn and do the right thing. They see goodness in all of their classmates and provide encouragement when needed. I am so proud of Jasmin Perez and Valentina A Hernandez for being kind and always doing their best and for seeing the best in others." -Mrs. Cardenas
Mrs. Henderson presented Shep Vayon with a Buccaneer challenge coin.
She said, "He is our classes big brother! He has the biggest heart and gives the best hugs when someone is upset and he’s the first to take care of others that need the extra help even if it means slowing him down! "
ECP PTO will be selling candy leis for ECP award ceremonies and graduation. Pre-Order sales will be online only (using the QR code). There will be a limited supply of leis available for purchase in person on the day of awards. Parents will be able to pick up their lei when they arrive for their child's ceremony/graduation.

It has been such an amazing week at ECP! We loved showing our appreciation to all of our teachers and staff! They are truly one of a kind, and work so hard each and every day for our littles! 💛
We finished off the week with an amazing breakfast provided by Mout's BBQ and Lily's, a special gift from ECP PTO, and a wonderful Nacho Bar provided by ECP parents and PTO.

Maverick has shown incredible strength, unshakable courage, and a bright spirit during some challenges that most adults could not even imagine. Through every setback, Maverick has truly shown what it means to be resilient. His strength and determination to overcome is an inspiration to everyone around him. Quite frankly, he is our little hero, and we are so honorored to be able to present him with this Buccaneer Challenge Coin.

Asher Richards received an EC Challenge coin from Mrs. Thrasher because he is always working hard in the classroom. He is always a great friend, and a great helper in the classroom as well. He is a true Buccaneer!!

Minno has an incredibly big heart! She has become best friends to a few of the friends in our class. Minno goes out of her way to make sure our friends start each day with a good morning greeting, full of AMAZING energy to put smiles on their faces!! She has no idea how much it means to them to get those hugs and acknowledgments!!
Mrs. Spencer presented EC Challenge coins to Elizabeth Thompson and Emma Zuniga for being amazing helpers with their new friends. They have been mini teachers helping them with a smooth transition.

It was another great day at ECP! We started the day off with flavored gelato, then our teachers and staff enjoyed an hour long lunch, and ended the day with a treat from the Snack N Joy charcuterie cart. Special thanks to our sponsors and volunteers who helped make this day possible!
Christopher Davila received a Buccaneer Challenge Coin from Mrs. Loiacano. Mrs. Loiacano says Chris shows true Buccaneer determination and kindness. He has grown so much this year, and she is so proud of him!
