💚ECP PTO SPIRIT SALES ARE HERE! 💛 Our ECP PTO will be selling spirit items this Friday morning! All proceeds go directly to our PTO and help them give back to our students and staff throughout the year. Want to skip the Friday morning shopping? Be on the lookout for a pre-sale form coming home today and tomorrow! Return the completed form with payment, and your child’s order will be filled and sent home with them on Thursday. We especially encourage our PK and Kindergarten families to take advantage of the pre-sale option. With lots of fun choices, Friday morning shopping can sometimes be a little overwhelming for our littlest Bucs! Students who would rather shop may bring money on Friday morning and purchase items from the PTO table. Items range from $1–$5 Cash or check (Checks payable to East Chambers Primary PTO) Thank you for supporting our ECP PTO and helping them continue doing special things for our students and staff! 💚💛

🚗Car Rider Reminder🚗 Starting Tuesday August 25, you must have your car tag clearly displayed with your child’s name visible when you arrive for pick-up. If you do not have a car tag, you will be sent to the front office to present a valid ID before your child can be released. Thank you for helping us keep dismissal safe, secure, and efficient! 💚💛

ECP Morning Drop-Off Update: We need everyone’s help keeping traffic around ECP safe during morning drop-off. If the ECP car rider line is backed up to Highway 124, please DO NOT attempt to enter the line by traveling southbound on Hwy 124 and turning left onto Fear Rd. This can create an unsafe traffic situation for everyone traveling in the area. Instead, please: --Continue southbound on Hwy 124 past Fear Rd. --Make a U-turn on Hwy 124 when it is safe and legal to do so. --Travel back northbound on Hwy 124. --Line up along the northbound shoulder of Hwy 124 and wait to make a right turn onto Fear Rd. The map below shows the correct traffic flow. Please follow the yellow arrows when the line extends to Hwy 124. We know the drop-off line can get long, and we truly appreciate your patience and cooperation. Taking a few extra minutes and following the proper traffic flow helps us protect not only our little Buccaneers, but also our families and everyone traveling through our community.

💛Nurse News with Nurse Gallegos💚 As we get ready for a great new school year, our ECP nurse has a few important reminders for families! 💊 All medications brought to school require the proper paperwork. Please remember that while all medications need paperwork, not all medications require a physician’s signature. 📋 Students with asthma, allergies, seizures, or other medical conditions will need a NEW physician action plan each school year. 🎒 If your child will need medication at school beginning on the first day, please make sure all required forms and medications are turned in. New medication and health forms are available on our school website. Thank you for helping us make sure our Little Bucs are healthy, safe, and ready for a great year!if you have any questions please call and Nurse Gallegos would be happy to help you.

We had a wonderful first day at ECP! As we prepare for another great day of learning, here are a few important reminders: ⏰ Drop-off begins at 7:30 AM 🔔 Tardy bell rings at 8:10 AM Beginning tomorrow, parents will not be allowed to walk students inside. It’s time to begin establishing our morning routines! Please use the morning car drop-off line, and our staff will be ready to welcome students and help them get where they need to go. No phones, tablets, or toys as we prepare for a wonderful day of learning. No outside food or drinks may be delivered for lunch. No lunch visitors due to limited cafeteria space. Thank you for helping us build strong routines and make Day 2 even better!

We were treated like royalty today! A HUGE thank you to our very own ECP royalty, Emma Grace Santana — Miss Texas Southern Belle Ambassador, and Lily Martinez (baby sister to Ivan Martinez) — Miss Texas Southern Baby Belle, along with their wonderful families, for providing a yummy lunch for our teachers and staff! We are so grateful for your kindness and generosity and for thinking of our ECP crew. Our hearts — and our bellies — are full! If you didn’t receive a call from your child’s teacher today, we’ve got you covered! During Meet the Teacher tonight from 5:00–7:00, we will have staff available in the cafeteria to help you complete any remaining registration items. Once they are complete you will be able to find out your child’s teacher and head to their classroom. Don’t forget! Youth spirit shirts will also be available for purchase.
