Mrs. Yonker awarded a Buccaneer Challenge Coin to August Bellard today. August noticed a spill in the hallway and asked if he could get napkins to clean it up. The spill was not his, but he jumped in to help! This is typical behavior from him daily. 💚💛

Our kindergarteners had so much fun putting their sense of taste to the test! 😋 As they learn all about the five senses, our little Buccaneers got to explore, taste, and make observations along the way.

Fall Picture Day is Thursday!
If you would like to order pictures, please send your completed order form back with your student tomorrow so our teachers have time to collect them before Thursday. (We will still accept them after tomorrow, this just helps us better prepare for picture day.)
Reminder! The ECHS Varsity Mini Cheer Clinic is today! If you forgot to register, no worries! They will have cheer staff available to register your child starting at 4:00.
If you’re cleaning out closets, please keep us in mind for any new or gently used costumes or holiday pajamas your family no longer needs. You may drop them by the front office anytime.

Today, some of our 2nd graders stood in front of a gym full of students and staff and read a poem in remembrance of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.
Standing in front of a crowd and speaking like that takes so much courage, and these friends handled it beautifully! They were brave, confident, and spoke so well as they helped us honor and remember the lives lost on that day.
We could not be more proud of them for taking on such an important role in our Patriot Day remembrance.
We will never forget. ❤️💙🇺🇸
🎉Digital Birthday Shout-Outs🎉
We’re excited to say that our digital sign is ready to start showing Birthday Shout-Outs! Birthday Shout-Out forms will go home with students on Monday, September 14th.
There is NO deadline—we will accept forms all throughout the school year!
Lose the form? No worries at all! We’ll keep extra copies in the ECP front office, so you can stop by anytime and fill one out.
For student safety, only the student’s first name and last initial will be displayed.
All proceeds will go into the ECP Student Activity Account and help us continue creating special experiences for our Little Bucs throughout the year! 💚💛

Tomorrow, Friday, September 11th, we invite all of our students and staff to wear red, white, and blue as we observe Patriots' Day. ❤️🤍💙
It's also a Buccaneer game day so Green and Gold is always acceptable! 💚💛
Kindergarten wrapped up their Nursery Rhymes and Fables unit! 📚✨ They had so much fun exploring this fun genre of literature and bringing these classic stories and rhymes to life! We love seeing our little learners having fun while they learn! 💚💛

🦴✨ Learning comes to life in First Grade! ✨🦴
Our first graders welcomed a very special new classmate today—a real skeleton! As they learn all about the human body, our students are getting the opportunity to read, write, observe, and learn firsthand about the bones that make up our bodies.
There’s nothing better than making learning real, meaningful, and memorable! 💚💛🦴
