The Buccaneer Marching Band Booster Club is hosting a Send Off tomorrow morning as they head off to Whitehouse for tomorrow's competition!

Tomorrow is the big day! HOCO is here! The high school will be busy.
The Homecoming Parade starts at 2 PM, followed by the pep rally at 3! Our volleyball team has its first serve at 4:30 with varsity first. The band will take the field for its performance during pre-game of the football game, which kicks at 7:30. Finally, the Homecoming Court and King/Queen Coronation will happen during halftime!
It's going to be a great day to be a BUCCANEER!

With such a busy week with TRF, we certainly can't let the weekend end without thanking the McNeely's for treating our staff to some delicious treats Wednesday morning! it was extra special for an extra special day!
Coach Fontenot gave Braylin Harbor his Buccaneer Challenge Coin for his service to his team and coaches. After the Buna game, Barylin stayed after everyone left and cleaned the team locker room, unprompted and without request!
Today we celebrated with our more than 200 students that had PERFECT Attendance! We gave out some fun prizes and had a blast eating some cookie cake with each other! Congratulations to our Buccaneers that committed to being at school every day for the first six weeks!
Mrs. Otte awarded a Buccaneer Challenge Coin to Kyler Thrash for her kindness! Mrs Otte says that Kyler has a heart for others!
Mr. Lezak gave his Buccaneer Challenge coin to Lainey Beaugh. Lainey has taken another student under her wing, and that student's family said it has "changed her life." Mr. Lezak said that her kindness and generosity truly exhibit what it means to be a Buccaneer!

This week, Art 1 students are learning about creating balance in their artwork, beginning with radial balance. Today, students began drawing and using the light from the window to help them trace their patterns onto their mandala!
