Dear Senior Parents,
We are excited to announce our official graduation date, May 29th at 8:00 PM in the ECISD stadium! We submitted our plan and IT HAS BEEN APPROVED! We are all set to celebrate the Class of 2020 on May 29th! There are stipulations we must follow in order to have the graduation ceremony, so are providing those details.
Guests – Due to social distancing guidelines, students will be allowed to invite 6 guests to the ceremony.
Screening – Each graduate and their guests must complete a Covid-19 Screening Handout and bring it to the stadium. The form will be included with the tickets, which will be available on senior checkout day, May 27th. This form is required for entrance into the ceremony.
Seating – Seating will be on both sides of the stadium. Green tickets will be for the home side and Gold tickets will be for the visitor side. Tickets will be given out on May 27th during Senior Checkout. All tickets will be placed in envelopes and mixed together and given out randomly.
Parking – Seniors will park in the faculty parking lot in front of the school. Parents/ guests with Green tickets should park in the parking lot across from the Gym on School Road. Parents/ guests with Gold tickets should park behind the visitor stands on T. Jones Street. Please practice social distancing as much as you can while parking.
Arrival – Upon arrival at the stadium, seniors will report to the entrance of the Multi-Purpose Center to check in. Green ticket holders will enter the stadium by the Gym, the Home ticket booth. Gold ticket holders will enter the stadium at the visitor’s entrance by the visitor concession stand. Parents/ guests should proceed into the stadium and find a place for their group to sit following social distancing guidelines.
Graduate and Guest Dismissal – At the conclusion of the ceremony, everyone should proceed to the exit they entered for departure from the stadium and leave the premises, maintaining the proper social distancing of 6 feet apart.
Additional Safety Measures – Students will be provided masks to wear during the ceremony; they may remove them for their picture. We also ask guests to wear masks for safety. If you don't have one, we will have some available. All graduates and groups should maintain a 6-foot distance from others when arriving and departing the stadium. Bathrooms will be monitored and sanitized during the event with soap and sanitizer available.
These restrictions must be followed in order to have this public celebration for our seniors. Please help us by adhering to all of the above stipulations. We are working diligently to ensure that this ceremony is special for our seniors and their families and safe. We look forward to celebrating the Class of 2020!
Stay Safe and Healthy, Bucs!
