Spring is upon us and it is always hectic during this time of the
year. Baseball, softball, track, tennis, and golf are in full swing. It is
also a rewarding time to see so many young people representing our school
in athletics. District competitions are quickly approaching, and I wish
all our athletes a very successful spring. Congratulations to our Lady
Bucs Powerlifters for their showing at the State Meet! Also
congratulations to Hank Jones for being selected to the TABC 2A
All-Regional Basketball Team.
Both the boys and girls tennis teams end district competition at Lamar
University as the district champions, and eight tennis athletes will
advance to Regional competition! Job well done!
And Holy Toledo! . . . the
girls track team has once again claimed the district title while the boys
track team finished as runner up. Congratulations.
