Sutherland Named ECISD Athletic Director

Russ Sutherland was approved by the East Chambers ISD school board at Thursday, May 12's meeting as the new athletic director and head football coach. Sutherland was head coach at Sam Houston High School, a Class 4A school in Louisiana, the last six years and was at Class 3A Iowa before that. Sutherland has a career coaching record of 78-61, and has reached the playoffs 11 consecutive seasons.
