The team used chef knives to cut the vegetables for the meal and also how to correctly cut oranges and other fruit for the fruit salad. After the team prepared the meal they were able to sit and enjoy a family style dinner that they created.
We would like to thank the EC Foundation Program for funding this event. We would also like to thank Chef Juan Gonzalez and Chef Katherine for taking the time to show our East Chambers Students what a day in the world of a chef looks like.
Students participating in Central Market Cooking school were: Harley Sonnier, Selena Moreno, Bekah Daniel, Bailey Stobart, Ellie Miller, Maddie Racca, Ariana Charles, Merceds Garcia, Evelyn Rojas and student teacher Roxanna Lopez.
