This workshop also, allows students to connect with others with similar interest from other schools, participate in poster contests, compete in taping contests, and meet representatives from colleges. Students can also challenge their knowledge in a quiz bowl.
Our great school was represented by Karlee Barron (FR), Kayla DeYoung (FR), Lacee Maldonado (FR), and Kody Thibodeaux (JR). These students showed a great willingness to get up early on a Saturday to go participate in extracurricular learning. This year's clinic took place at Clear Falls Academic Village where our students participated in the beginners track of the workshop. Here students got the chance to learn different types of taping skills that will help them assist our athletic trainer in preventing injuries. During this workshop our students were able to see just how much fun athletic trainers can have when they step away from sporting events and be in a learning environment.
